Our louvre roof pergolas are supplied as a kit with detailed instructions and ready for assembly, making them as a great choice for your project. Below is high level overview of single bay, free-standing Byron Bay DIY louvre roof pergola assembly with 4xposts. Other designs will vary slightly.
Step-1
Attach base plates to the post using supplied screws and washers
Step-2
Attach the posts to the beam and connect the beam ends together to form the frame for the DIY louvre roof pergola.
Step 3
Install drainage pops and seal the drainage pops and beam joins using silicon.
Step-4
Install Louvre Blades and join them to the control rods.
Step-5
Connect the louvre blade to the motor.
Step-5
Measure the distance between posts straight as well as diagonally to ensure they are all square. Once confirmed, install the appropriate base plate anchors and connect the drainage pipes to appropriate storm water drainage points.

Please note above is only a high level view of the assembly of the DIY louvre roof pergola. You have to ensure:
- relevant permits (planning, building) & engineering have been obtained
- appropriate foundation e.g. concrete pad footings or slab etc are in place before you start the assembly
- all safety precautions are being adhered to during assembly of the pergola
- appropriate electrical connections, outdoor GPO’s & other provisions have been made by an electrician for electrical wiring & connection to the pergola
- appropriate drainage connections have been made by plumber.
